I would say maybe and not worth the risk, but I've only had one injector out once, so not much real world experience here

No way is it worth a 1.00 crush washer doing the job again.

No brainer on this one.

Get a new one

After the fourth parts store and a hour of time, I found someone that had a set for one injector. Agreed I couldn't chance it. My luck is nothing to brag about.

Even if it was fine, if you're like me every time your cranked the truck your brain would have a flinch

I stripped a bolt on the fuel pressure regulator 75k miles ago, and every time I smell raw diesel I immediately go to that.

Isn't funny how much trouble and grief these trucks cause us, yet we still love them?

Yeah, the brain flinch is strong right now. Hopefully it'll calm down when the air is out of the lines.

New water pump for 150, 190 for an injector, still cheaper that a truck payment. And yes, still love it.

We're about to the point you can just keep a spare 6.0 on an engine stand for what 6 months of a new truck would cost you. That's why I keep buying them, between all my trucks I'll keep one running at any given time

That's Legendary and sooo on point. Oh if i didn't care for my neighbors and have neighborhood pride, I would definitely have a couple more 6.0s.

I'm not saying you don't have all that, I'm saying we have really small yards. I'm surrounded by people older than myself (47) and they have never complained about me or the family. Also i don't push my luck.

Try telling a 17 year old to shut it down at 8:30 on monday night when he's 30 minutes from completing an exhaust job on his foxbody. Yes I'm a horrible father.

Alliant Fuel Injector

I would contact the vendor and asked for a replacement. Not worth the risk using a bent washer. I replaced #4 fuel injector a year ago and was pleased with Alliant.

Already installed. Runs fine now.

The waterpump has been squeaking and seeping coolant. Sooo today I was removing the fan shroud to replace the waterpump, popped the upper rad hose off and found a nice thick layer of oil on top of the coolant.

I'd much rather do a front cover than an oil cooler again. (I think) I did the oil cooler about 10 years ago. Sucks I have to clean all that crap out of the system. There's no telling what seals have been compromised. Also I'll have to replace the rad hoses.

Is there a good way to pin point the source of the contamination?
