Horn Contact
2002 F250 SD XLT. This is the second horn contact that went bad. The horn just blows at random times. Usually at 1 or 2 AM. The first time I replaced it with a Dorman contact. $145.00. It lasted a bout a year or so. Started going off again at random times. If a bang on the wheel it shuts off. This time I getting a cheap one from Amazon $45.00. Anyone have any suggestions on how to keep the horn from blowing other than clip the wires? Or is anyone else experiencing horn problems? At my work we have an 2007 F350. The horn starting going off on its own, we just pulled the fuse for now.

My speed control was also not working. I found it was not getting the "on" signal. The Horn and the "on" switch form the speed control share the same clock spring. If I pound on the horn real hard the speed control will work and the horn will stop blowing. I guess I will change the clock spring. Hopefully that will permanently fix my horn and speed control issues.
