2011 Expedition cowl

The wife was threatening to go looking for another Expedition if I didn't fix her windshield washers so after the freeze was over down here in Texas I thought, shouldn't be a problem, just a couple of spray nipples clipped on the cowl. Just blow 'em out."

AAAHHHH YEEEEESSSSS. There's and engineer laughing his guts out somewhere out there. I've got a rope I'd like to show you, buddy.

I did get the cowl off and the tubing flushed out. Spray heads work great now but each half of the cowl has two clips in front. Broke one on both of them trying to dislodge the center hold-down clips. The hold-down clips elsewhere under the cowl can be acquired at an auto parts store according to the YouTube people but I had enough to get the thing to stay down for the most part. The two press-in buttons did the rest. At least it didn't blow off at 80mph on the test run while working the wipers.

The main question here is I'd rather replace the whole thing to be safe but, of course, the 2011 is supported about as much as my Window 7 computer I'm typing this on and no one seems to have a replacement out there. You'd think SOMEbody would have jumped on this little piece of plastic ornamentation and pumped out a zillion by now. Does anyone know if replacements are out there? I can't even find them on Ebay.

Thanks.

Are you wanting to replace the entire cowl panels? We can still get them, they're not cheap though.

Cowel panels

I'm guessing the two halves of the cowl plus the retainers for both. You sent two links for the cowl panels. What is the difference between the two? Is it just pictures of both halves?
To be absolutely certain of payment I can refresh my PayPal account and I'm sure that would be faster than a check.
Thanks.

It is a left and right side so you'd need one of each plus however many of the retainers you want, the retainers are sold individually. Our site takes cards and Paypal.

So the price is $227.94 x 2 plus the retainers?

Drivers side is $270, passengers side is $227. That's why I said "not cheap".

Ouch. Yeah, I'm going to have to budget for this but I have the links to order. I hope it's not on perpetual back order.
The two panels are pictured but I have only one part number to go on based on your links. Let me know what the two halves respective part numbers are.

Just takes us a few days to get them in, no back orders. As for part numbers, look at them again. The 69 is drivers side and 68 is passengers.

Ah, gotcha. I need to put some money in my PayPal account and then I'll see what I can do.
Much appreciate it!

One other question, if I may, and it's not urgent so if you're headed home you can answer whenever you can - The passenger side mirror outer housing (motorized, memory, heated, all that on the KR) has slipped a cog and has been moved out too far. I think someone hit it in the parking lot and now it is too far out to bring the mirror in to see back properly. Can these assemblies be taken apart and reassembled in the proper gear timing?
