I watched a video and the guy said something about the collar kit replacement might be an issue. I really didn't understand what he was saying as it was a quick comment
I did get the collar replaced, should there be any issues removing the CCV
Is this the correct part number. FC3Z-6A785-C
Any other tips will be appreciated
Thanks

Could you post up the video? I did a S&S DPK kit on mine and had to disconnect the hose off the intake to pull the whole intake assembly out. I had to slide the "rubber" cover off that exposed the two tabs holding it on the intake. The two tabs I had to push up, held them up with two small screwdrivers and then remove the hose from the intake feed there. I reused my original CCV box but I do have an Improved Racing CCR catch can using Mishimoto adapters that are installed under the CCV box as I replaced the Mishimoto catch can that I installed. What is this collar kit you mentioned?
Does yours have a connector on it? My 16 does not. I'll wait for you to respond before I comment further.
Changed it out the other day and had no issues getting it off and the new one back on the collar, probably easiest part of the project. Fortunately I had a friend help me out who understands mechanics a lot better than I do, so I also learned a few things.
Still can't find that original video....so we used a different one.
I also changed out the fuel filters.
the collar kit was a recall that was done on the truck I I think 2022
