BDS, Skyjacker or Rough Country Level on 1996 F150
I recently picked up a 1996 F150 XLT 4WD and want to do a mild left/level on it to clear some larger tires. I ran across this kit from Late Model Restoration and was curious if anyone used it. This is about the amount of lift I am looking for, and not wanting to have an issue aligning it and eating up tires. I also don't want to install drop brackets like those from the larger lifts. I am not going to take this truck rock crawling or deep into the woods, but do want more clearance and the ability to do some mild off roading. I am wanting to clear 32x11.50 tires on stock offset wheels. My truck does have the quad shock option up front. OR, Is there a better option?

What about a body lift or are those not a thing anymore?
I would be curious if the alignment keys would get you back within spec. Guessing maybe if the front end is all new and tight
I am not a fan of the body lifts. If I am going to do a lift, I want a suspension lift, but again nothing crazy and something that will align and drive/ride right. This is going to a project truck for me and my son and part of that is us going through the front suspension and all new pivot and radius arm bushings. Im hoping that when we do that it will be tight enough to be aligned after. He is 13 and has claimed this truck, so he needs to be able to work on it. With only 126k miles on the truck, its not been thrashed on, just needs a little refresh and update.
I have gotten the tires and new (to me) wheels and the truck looks good. My son wants a little bit of a lift and I am not opposed to it as long as it is going to align and drive/ride right. Does anyone have real world experience with any of these kits? I do not want to go with anything over 2 inches.
