My truck is a 2019 F-150 XLT. It has 74,700 miles on it. The truck is "new to me, having been purchased in July of 2025. I have put a total of 400 miles on it since purchase.
Suddenly I am getting a slew of dashboard notices/warnings: Hill Assist Not Available, Pre-collision Assist Not available, Service Stability Control and ABS.
The truck functions normal, despite the warnings. I find it hard to believe that all these functions went bad at the same time.
Could I be getting all these notices/warning at once be a sing that my battery is going bad? Could there be some other cause for this to happening?
I would start with checking the ground strap leading from the battery to the frame or body to the frame. Look for any signs of corrosion, or looseness. Then I would check the condition of the battery. A weak battery will cause all sorts of strange electronic issues, especially on Fords.
Add my voice to the chorus. Battery or loose ground strap as suggested.
Yeah having the same to mine battery is about 3ish years old, so a good charge should fix that?
Also is the battery minder thingy on the ground side attached to the ground terminal?
A 3-year battery could still be fine, but at that age with those symptoms I would get it load tested before just charging it. A surface charge can make a battery test good on voltage but still fail under load. Takes 5 minutes at any auto parts store for free.
For the battery minder connector - on the 2019 F150 there is a remote positive terminal up front near the fuse box in the engine bay. That is actually there specifically for jump starting and charger hookup so you do not have to dig down to the battery. The ground side you just clamp to any clean metal on the chassis - the battery tray bracket or a bolt on the firewall works fine.
Once you sort the battery out, those warnings should clear on their own after a few drive cycles. If they do not clear after the battery is confirmed good, then it is worth pulling codes to see if there is something else going on.

No, the Battery Tender + charger is connected directly to the Pos (+) and NEG (-) terminals of the battery. Does that make a difference?
