New MAP sensor holy cow!

I first attempted to clean my original which was completely clogged shut. While doing this I ruined it so I ordered a new one. I cant believe the difference, I feel like I have a whole different truck. The power is amazing, im not sure on mileage yet, haven't really logged many miles.
I also purchased a spacer and my question is, while it does seem that it should prolong the sensor life, isn't it likely that the spacer itself could get clogged at its opening just as the sensor did?

you are correct, its a band aid (spacer) to prolong the clogging process. From time to time you can simple clean your current MAP sensor with spray, just don't probe around inside the small hole. As long as it is open, it can still measure manifold pressure accurately.

I have the Banks spacer on my 22. According to Banks, the idea is that the map sensor is now moved out of the exhaust flow, so all the vapors and soot isn't sticking to the sensor. But, the opening still allows the sensor to measure pressure and temp. In theory, the hole would take ages to close up from soot, but the sensor itself will stay many times cleaner since it is not in the direct line of fire any longer.

I dunno, I can picture it in my mind the way the explain, and it makes sense, but whether or not it works that way is another story...

Also, I had removed mine and cleaned it with CRC Electronic Cleaner prior to this. I did use a QTip to clean inside the hole near the top, but I did not shove anything down inside it. I just let the blast from the stray clean it out while holding it upside down. Then I did the same before installing the sensor. There was no difference in performance, but the first time was at 20k and then the relocation was done at 50k, so not a lot of miles either. I may mess with it again around 75k just to check it out...

Yeah thats how I ruined mine, I didnt read up on it first and stuck a q tip in there. My boost guage was stuck pegged out and I was making no power. Im glad I got the new one anyway. First one had just about 100,000 miles on it.
