Electrical Connector Removal Tool

The electrical connections under the rear near the spare tire are a problem with some trucks when they get contaminated. I have to disconnect them to remove the tailgate to mount my truck camper.

I just leave them disconnected for easier tailgate removal because what a pain in the rear they are to remove.
Looking through some information I came across these tools. Has anyone used them?

Maybe everyone knew about them and I just found them.

I have a similar set. I've used the two in your 2nd and 3rd pics. I've found them VERY helpful!! I'm always afraid of pulling on the wires inadvertently...these tools help greatly with that.

I have the same ones in pics two and three, I'd give them a thumbs up.

Be careful with the plier style remover.
I have seen them slip off the connector and cut the wires.
They definitely work, just be aware they may do damage if they slip.

Can someone post a link to them? Looks handy to have in the tool box.

There is a far less expensive method to separating electrical connectors. PUSH, don't PULL The clips to unlock are not difficult to unlock if you first push the shells together, then press the release tab. When disassembling the parts on an engine, I find it so easy and never needed tools except maybe a pick to pull the release locks out from the coil packs, then push on the connector, then press the release tab, they pop right off. its the pressure of the watertight seal that makes them difficult to remove.
