Hey guys. Been a long time. Last time I was here I did a 1981 F-100 on a 94 Frame with a 94 460/E4OD swap. It was a great success and now a buddy owns the truck.
this is my latest one. A 1973 F-100 custom single cab long box. It has a 302, a T-18 and a 9” rear. She has the usual rust but that is all cosmetic. My plan, is to swap the body of the 73 onto the 2011 F-150 beside it. It has a coyote/6R80 and is also a rear wheel drive. Now the 2011 wheelbase is 145” vs the 73 133” wheel base so I will be cutting up the frame of the 2011 to match the 73.
after that I need my harness modified to run the coyote and 6r80. I am also looking to see if I can keep the ABS stand alone also. I know the truck has ABS and Roll Control but I am going to test to see if I can unplug the RCM and the drive the 2011 and see if abs still work on braking only. I do not want the RCM to tell the pcm to back off the throttle.
so after the snow starts to melt in Canada, I will get on this and post pics and videos.
