E150 ABS codes
I am having an absolute nightmare trying to get my ABS error codes.
here's a quick summary of the facts (for as far as i can tell):
I have an E150 from 1994
I should have an ABS diagnostic connector underneath the glove box, thats not there
i should have an ABS module underneath the glove box, that's not there either
I do have what appears to be the 4 wheel diagnostic connector under the hood (round connector, 3 pins, one of which is black orange)
If i run the VIN, i should have 2 wheel RABS.
I have tried reading the codes with a SNAP-ON MT2500 according to the instructions i found here: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...abs-codes.html , but with no success - the menu i need doesnt show up
Could somebody please help me identify the ABS i have, and help me get to those codes? I have included some pictures to what i am doing
regards. Willem
I have the FRD-4 connector hooked up
This is the only diagnostic abs-related connector i can find, it has an orange/black wire and 3 pins
passenger side footwell - I don't know what im looking at exactly here, but i couldn't find an abs diagnostic connector there and no abs module. If somebody can identify it here, please let me know!
glove compartment - I think this is the Windshield wiper module. From what i hear there should be an ABS module next to it?
glove compartment - Nothing on the other side either
SNAP-ON MT2500 ABS menu, i go into the ABS menu
SNAP-ON MT2500 ABS menu, this is the only menu item showing up. nothing about reading the codes
SNAP-ON MT2500 disks i have
SNAP-ON MT2500 more disks i have
Can’t really see much in the middle picture.
Does that lead back to the wiring harness? Looks like a wheel sensor to me but I haven’t worked on a Ford van in almost 20 years.
I have made some pictures of the fuse box and underneath the car. I think it's 4 wheel abs? But im not quite sure, it's difficult to get under the car since its pretty low with the sideskirts and all
With the scan tool i got these codes. I found them in the KOEO test, not in the ABS menu, and i entered a 1997 model VIN (?)
This is the fuse box. There is one fuse missing, could that be the problem
This is attached to the frame, no idea what it is though
A connector going to the back of the car
a black box attached to the frame

When i check the internet for the meaning, it seems that all 3 can be related to a loss of signal due to a possible wiring issue. That would be great, because i also have the problem that the speedo jumps around at high speeds (maybe bad signal?) , and i have a gearbox that sometimes wants to engage when the van is stopped (i read that the gearbox is controlled by a computer that reads the van's speed, so maybe this is a gearbox computer not knowing if the van is moving or not?).
Does anyone have a wiring diagram to this ABS system? maybe there is a spot where all 3 wires or signals come together, or maybe i just need to clean a connector?
