Ok guys bare with me, this might be a little long. Drive the truck in with a fuel knock and oil leaks. Went to replace the injector and found it had a bent pushrod. Pulled both heads and sent them down to get checked. Heads came back good. Replaced all pushrod, stand pipes, dummy plugs and injector rings. Put the engine back together. I primed the oil and fired the truck up. Ran ok but not great, then it shut off and won't fire back up.
Got a code for the icp, I tested for a 5vl reference and it was good. Replaced the icp, and same thing. I pulled the IPR, and the screen was stuck in the HPOP. Got the screen out and replaced the IPR. Same deal, wont start.
The pic is while cranking. Any help would be great. Gonna pull the oil cooler back out and check the screen. If thats good I guess an HPOP. Problem is I can see an HPOP due to the fact it drove into the shop so I messed something up somewhere.
Since the IPR is a dump valve, many times when a screen gets pulled in the reverse direction (INTO the HPOP), it is a hint that there may be an HPOP problem. Checking the oil cooler sump screen isn't a bad idea, and neither is leak checking the oil rails.

thats what i was thinking, just hard to see the hpop bad. Thanks
With no screen protecting the IPR, there very well could be debris inside the valve that could cause it to stick.
Here is a post from Ford_Doctor on his website:
"I also think that if the screen clogs enough, oil pressure gets behind the O-rings and pushes the screen off the IPR." So not always an HPOP issue. But if a screen clogs, you need to identify why!
