You know something? I didn't even notice that as I was pointing out the valve vacuum port. Yes, the spacer design does have an effect but that is for more for a performance engine and not a driver. But whichever spacer is used, the vacuum port needs to connect to both spacer throttle bores.
The early road draft was a terrible design for efficient CCV. That is one reason it marks its territory as did the later breather tube design.

I was thinking I could drill into the center of the phenolic one, then break into each bore since the material is easier to machine. I'm still in the planning stage so these ideas and bits of information are very useful!
