Replaced the pig tail on my passenger rear heated seat as one of the wires pulled out and the heater wasn't working. I hit the button and it turned on momentarily, but then quit. The driver side works fine. I haven't seen any other broken wires. Do the rear heated seats go through the same module under the front passenger seat? What else should I check? Thinking maybe the element is bad itself.

The rear heated seats are controlled by the Rear Heated Seat Control Module which is located in the seat back of the rear seat on the driver's side.
I'll check that. Are they known for melting connections too?
I don't think they're "known" for melting connections but the Rear Seat Control Module is fed from a 15 amp fuse (F20 in the BJB). At that current level it wouldn't take much corrosion or dirt on a connector to get things hot. In addition, the seat cushion and seat back heater elements are in series electrically and the seat cushion has a temp sensor to detect if things are getting too hot. If any one of those goes bye-bye that seat will go cold.
