The only side "marker lights" available on 1957-60 Ford trucks were the front fender mounted round auxilliary turn signal type. You can see them here on Wayne's truck: https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gal...436&albumid=18
The Ford sales brochure, and parts and accessories catalog show them as being a "regular production" option available for F-100 and up. I've only seen them installed on rack bodies, tow trucks, etc.
There were also ICC clearance lights (roof mounted "marker" lights). They were available in either "Front-two corner lights", or "3-light cluster and 2 corner lights".
[] well,
[*Side marker lights didn't make an appearance on passenger cars until the late 60s. I believe 68 may have been the first year... [/B][/QUOTE]
well i guess that is out of the question as i want to keep it orignal and dont want to add anything that doesnt belong on it . thanks

Fordfaggiole, you didn't specify "side". Is that what you meant? Some call cab lights marker lights.
Hi. Well either one.Iwas wondering about cab lights. i didnt know about the factory options for the the cab lights. If it was an option [mine doesn't have any] i was going to check into finding some orignal ones if they were an option. I like the look of a truck with cab marker lights.I also like the side marker lights but dont want to put any lights on top or sides if they dont belong there. I,m real new to this restoration and would like to do it right whether i like the look is an afterthought. thanks for the reply
Originally posted by SteV8e I just looked through a brochure for the 1952 trucks. None of the trucks shown have cab lights and they don't list them as an option.
I agree that they look good. I think that they were common starting in the 1960s.
Thanks for the reply .Sometimes plain and simple is good too. thanks.
