Usually running 65 max. If I find myself on an interstate with a higher MPH I just tuck in behind a big rig and go with the flow. They typically max out around 72....

I'll set the cruise at 65-67 max. I believe most trailer tires aren't rated for higher speeds than that anyways. Better for mileage and better for trailer tires. Those blowouts damage a lot of stuff and take time to fix. That time exceeds what it costs by going a little slower.

When buying new trailer tires last year, I specifically was looking for higher speed ratings, so I went with tires with a speed rating of M (81mph/130kph) or higher. ST225/75R15E at 80 psi, AND I'm using a trailer tire TPMS system so I can be alerted if one starts to go down before it tears itself apart and damages the trailer! The proverbial 'ounce of prevention prevents a pound of cure'. I generally limit my speeds as well, to 73 tops (even with a 70 or75mph speed limit). I'm retired and on a fixed income, so I'm not in a hurry to burn exponentially more gas to go 5mph faster!
