Door Ajar Sensor

About a month ago, the passenger door started acting up. When I open it, the truck correctly shows the door as open, but once I close it, it doesn’t always register that it’s shut.
If the truck sits for a while, the issue clears—until I open the passenger door again. It’s intermittent, and it has never falsely shown the door as open before I actually open it.
I pulled back the wiring boot between the door and the chassis and didn’t see any obvious damage. This seems to have started when the weather turned colder.
Any ideas on what else I should check?

Any idea how I check that or how it works? Can I spray some type of cleaner on it or do I need to take the door apart?
