Door ajar micro switch
Has anyone ever replaced the door ajar micro switch on a 2019 F250.
I had to jump mine out because it would set off the alarm indicating the door was open.
I found this post on another site but no information on how hard it was or how to do it.
{ Solved the problem, I replaced the micro switch in the latch assembly, would like to offer it here for anyone else.
Ford doesn’t give it as its own part, but you can take the PN from the transit van and swap it by removing 1 torx bolt.
Ford motorcraft sw-7533 is the left side. Sw-7532 is the right. }
