door ajar sensor 03 Exp...

any one have any fixes or atleats know where the door ajar sensor is.....pretty sure its the door behind the driver but not 100%...is there any way to check them and how tought to replace them...thanks

It's part of the door latch system. Might be sticking if it's indicating the door is ajar while it's fully closed. Give the door latch a liberal dousing with WD-40 and cycle the door several times.

like paul said, just spray the latches with wd40, that fixed my door ajar issue in about 53 seconds.

This happened to me last week. It was actually the back glass on the liftgate. The latch was stuck. I noticed it was that because when I would shut the glass, it made a "clank" sound, not a thump. I played with it alittle and now it's fine.
