Son has a 2017 F150 with the small (2.7l) turbo ecoboost engine. I asked Google if there was a larger alternate oil filter for this car and it told me this:
Yes, a common alternative to the standard oil filter (Motorcraft FL-2062-A, a cartridge-style filter) for the 2017 Ford F-150 2.7L EcoBoost engine is a larger spin-on filter such as the Motorcraft FL-500S.
I wish people would look further down the list than the AI responses from Google, which are notoriously inaccurate. I see this on other forums too.
The great thing about the 2.7 is that you can change the cartridge filter easily, without having to be concerned about loosing any oil. There is no larger cartridge filter that will work in that housing. Just change the filter twice as often if it makes you feel better.
And to think some will make important life decisions based on AI, interesting times we live in!
If you can get the masses to accept that AI is smarter than us, and to accept AI answers, then it will become inevitable that those who control AI will control society.
I certainly hope that the first person that adapts a Powerstroke spin-on filter to the 2.7 eco-Boost cartridge filter housing posts the step by step procedure on the forum. I can't wait to see it.
