I'm not saying it can't be done, I said it's not done. good luck finding a local shop who doesn't zero balance everything independently. there's nobody in my half the state who could. just balance your new shaft and if it's not smooth zero balance the other.
I watched Kenworth balance driveshafts and they're done one at a time.
I have an awesome local driveshaft shop. He did my obs f350 shAft and he will do this one. I'll drop it off and pick it up all like new
Well, it fits if you cut the cross member up,drop it 6" and refab in-between. It's not as nice looking as I'd hope but for now it'll work. When the cab gets swapped I'll make it look much nicer. Welding underneath on the floor was not fun and I was over it.
Driveshaft shortened and front has been changed to 1350 size now.
