I have experimented with the Ford Nav Trailer Routing on my 2026 F-350 and I don't trust it. One thing I found is that it cannot start a route from the middle of a truck stop parking lot to the destination. It needs to know you are at a viable starting point, and it doesn't have the data for the very same area that 100+Semis are parked. It would be so much better if it showed you a close starting point to destination and you figured out how to get to the starting point. I find it very odd that will all the data available to Apple Maps, Google Maps, and Waze that they don't have a trailering setting.
Rumor has it Google will be phasing out Waze as they get closer to full feature parity in Google Maps as they are investing heavily there in integrating Gemini. Maintaining 2 products doing the same thing long term just does not make sense.
I thought I heard that when you put your trailer information into they system on the new super duties, then when you have it hooked up, the navigation (google maps) will account for your trailer when picking a route. Is this true? If so how well does it work, or does it leave you in a sticky situation?
I have found the Ford navigation system to be useless, regardless of the situation. I use google maps through carplay and add in RV Trip Wizard when towing..
I swear I remember seeing something about a Sync update to modify the constant bridge alert behavior that 2023 users were reporting. I have not tried it on my 2024 to say either way.
Yes, an update within the last year eliminated those annoying “bing” warnings.

How would you know? The updates don't provide enough details to know everything that has been updated. Automakers really need to work on their tech and update documentation.
If you're looking at good app, that you can use with android or car play (towing or RV option) in my opinion there is a good app called hammer: truck has & maps. You can set up your vehicle combination dimensions and select RV route or truck route.
I prefer not to have garmin or rand McNally on my windshield
