Help stuck in limp mode
2017 f350 4x4 dually. 6r140 trans. My P D R N D 2 1 Won't stay lit when the engine starts,so the truck dosent know what gear it's in. Limp mode not drivable. So far I've spent about $1000 trying to fix it. New Pcm from Ford, plus programming new internal trans wiring harness and new range sensor. No improvements.

Is the truck stock or tuned? How old are the batteries? What else have you tried? Does manual mode work? Have you pulled any codes that are present?

battery is almost new. no modes work. Codes for range sensor. It is new as is the p c m

everything was,programmed by Ford. 6r140 do not have a lead,frame

Crap, hims.,com jokes, or thats what she said wont help you on this one. You replaced the PCM because of what it was doing? Did you get codes, or was the PCM Fried? Has the power junction box been examined, because they tend to corrode and cause all sorts of issues and should be the first thing checked.

I changed the pcm,because thr problem was intermittent at times. I've checked the fuses. And seem ok but could be dealer. I've got an appointment Tuesday at another ford dealer to ck it out. Im really frustrated with this problem.

Not sure if this is the right one, but he has a video regarding the underhood fuse box issues.
Could be the issue. You have to remove the fuse box to check it, looking at it from above won't tell you if its bad or not.
