Evening Roy, Steve and Mike. Thanks to all who served. so cool to have your group still getting together. Be blessed protectors of our freedom, one and all. That includes the Navy Roy!
Yes Tim, I took a look at the brake pads. They look good. I drove the car around the neighborhood, I didn't hear any noise.
Yesterday went well at Home Depot. Turned out to be a long day. My scheduled shift was over at 1300. Didn't finish with customers until 1330, then I had a bunch of computer-based training to do.
After that, my department supervisor got with me for my semi-annual evaluation. I didn't clock-out until 1630.
Sometimes wonder about classes you have to take for licensing in some areas. Took one for NY Real Estate License. Instructor: "you can't take the exam until you finish my class".
2 weeks to go, test was being given in Syracuse , so me being me, I took the test (passed it). There was another topic that was on the exam that the instructor said would "never
be on the exam". Yes it was.

I know some states require pre-licensing courses to even sit for the exam, at least insurance anyway, I am guessing other professional licenses are the same way. Montana doesn't have that requirement, at least not anymore according to the insurance commissioner's website. I took the pre-licensing courses since I thought it would be a good idea anyway. P&C and Life exams I felt the courses really helped me. Taking the health exam this morning though felt like there was a lot on that exam that was completely unfamiliar and wasn't covered in my course at all. Still passed it though, and with a much higher score than I was expecting, I thought I was going to barely scrape by, if I even passed as I went through it. I was pleasantly surprised with my scores on that test. Passed life exam as well.
Need to apply for my license now, but need to wait for my exam results to show up on the NIPR website. After that need to head up to sheriff's office and get fingerprinted for a background check. Next exam is in December for securities...started studying that today.
