Born right-handed but learned to do much left-handed due to loss of most sight in the right eye. About 12 yrs old.
It started with archery and rifle shooting. Had to switch to left-handed due to eyesight. About the only thing I due only right-handed is write.
When working on the truck, I use which ever hand is closes to the wrench. Shooting a pistol, I shoot left-handed but can switch if need be.
5000 lb bags with air compressor and remote control. Can be run off of an app on the phone. I haven't done that.
I had had enough for the day, and my hand was doing ok, but was hurting a bit.
Busy day... Went to Roy's place of employment and bought some ledger pieces for the shower surround, then to Smiths for stuff to go along with the brisket already on the traeger.
Wife and I painted the trim and fascia on the little garage. Looks good but will still need a second coat eventually.
Then I swapped header gaskets and hardware on the bronco. The gaskets that came with the headers appear to be incorrect for my heads. Oval-ish rather than rectangular ports. Also, the old hardware used Allen head bolts, and with the header design it was nearly impossible to properly torque. They were leaking badly, and the difference is immediately noticeable.
Monday morning has arrived...... Still dark out. Sunrise isn't until 0722 hrs.
My hand is coming along........ Last night it hurt a bunch. Must have used it too much. This morning is better.....
Theresa has commented about a noise in the Honda when she applies the brakes..... Hummmm..... Maybe brake pads ???
I will take a look today. That'll take top spot on my To-Do list.
The weather looks Ok.... 55°F right now with a high temperature of 66°F expected. Great working weather....
Evening Roy, Steve and Mike. You guys sure have a lot going on
Steve, I think changing maybe one header gasket would be enough for me for the day. The building looks good.
Roy, not too surprised you over did!
Congrats Mike. That stuff takes focus.
Still here. A bit of a rough day at work today, spent most of the day in jail (working on their computer network) and then got back to the main office and our backup appliance was having problems. I did eventually get away though and looking forward to the holiday and tinkering on the rig in the garage maybe.
I saw this today and I'm trying to resist heading up to Roy's neck of the woods for a patina finish motor swap lawn mower project I absolutely don't need in my life right now. But man would it look sweet!
