Good morning. I ran the 12v directly to the hfcm by splicing in some clamps, truck starts now. Thank you all for the directions on troubleshooting. So....does this mean bad fuse box/unservicable relay? I see several used on ebay, please advise. Thank you all again.

They are not all the same. You must find one that fits with your truck / VIN.

And check fuel pressure.

Ok, I received the rebuilt fuse panel a d got it installed tonight and it works. Thank you all for your input.

On a side note i have had an intermittent problem prior to this issue where i would get crank without a start, but it wouldnt even act like it was trying to start. It would just crank. When I scanned it I would get the crank position and cam position sensor errors but I read that was probably due to long cranking. I am curious if that same non serviceable relay could have caused that issue as it was beginning to fail?

Again, thank you all.

That is what happens with a bad fuel pump relay (it is integral to the CJB). The definition of a P0231 code.

I replaced the CJB and , then bought a 2022 with low miles on it, and passed the 2006 truck to my son. After I replaced the fuse block, it started doing an intermittent no power. When i turned the key the injectors didnt wind up, and tje dash was blank. I would pull the cover to expose the fuse panel and slap the panel with my hand and then turn the key and it would get power. I checked all of the harness connectors at the back of the panel, they are seated. Is this a possible relay issue? Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

Replacing the fuse block solved the fuel pump issue.

Hope he answers that question and provides some more detail. My impression was that it was a used and re-built CJB, but would also like to know where it was purchased.

If used, he could have weak relay prongs, or the layout could be different. Those CBJs are not universal for all years and trims.
