Hi all, new to the forum, I'm really happy to have found this site. I have a 2000 F350 Super Duty and am having the door lock problem. I've read up about the tin foil trick and will be trying that soon. In addition to weak door locks I also have weak windows that act like the battery is dying. I've read about lubing up the window rails so I will be trying that as well. The strange problem is that the door lock button on the driver's side will sometimes work and try to actuate the other locks in the truck, but then after a little while I can hear a "click" below the steering wheel and the entire door lock/window/side mirror panel loses power. If I let it sit for a while then I will hear another click and it all works again and then repeats. I've tried to do a search but am not sure if this is a fuse or a relay or what is going on? Any input is appreciated, thanks!

Does your truck have keyless entry, and if so, is it a crew cab? The wiring diagram is different between crew cab without keyless entry, regular or SuperCab without keyless entry, crew cab with keyless entry, and regular/SuperCab with keyless entry.
I had very weak door lock actuators on my '99 when I first got it. It just replaced the actuators with new ones, it wasn't really that bad of a job.
