2001 f350 door lock problem

2001 f350 door lock problem
I have an 01 f350 lariat that has door lock issues. If I press the control on either door they struggle and will not lock or unlock. They are not tight to lock by hand and all my fuses are good. The drivers side window is also slow so is there a relay that is crap somewhere or what??

Thanks so much for listing that link. I will try it, but first how hard is it to get the door panels off and is there something i can do to help my window go up and down better?

Page 5, some decent pics of actual motor / thermistor situation...
Same thing could be happening with window motor as well. Not sure if it has same type of circuitry to keep from burning out motor, but I would think it does. Before I tore into that though, I would clean up window edges and track, then spray some silicone lube in there. Helps much.
Only downside to the thermistor bypass on these motors is, if someone holds down the button when things cant move anymore (Window / Door Lock) You stand the chance of burning up the motor.
