Hey folks. My 87 F-150 is not cranking. Put a new ECM on it yesterday hoping that was the issue, but it was not. I’m getting fire and it’s got 35-40 psi fuel pressure, but still want crank even with a little starter fluid.
Any idea on what to do next?
Thanks in advance.

Yes Sir, I’ve checked the fuel pressure, 35 lbs, fuel pump is running, getting pulse on injectors, timing in about 8 degrees before top dead center. Checked the wiring order, 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8. I am totally at a loss.
A little back story. About a month or so ago I cranked it up to go to my daughters. It cranked fine as usual and then it kinda sounded like a poof or a muffled pop, died and hasn’t cranked again.

Let me clarify. The engine is turning over but will not start. Like I said, I have fuel pressure, fire and the timing is correct. The injectors are also pulsing. This has me quite confused.
I definitely got spark. Pulled a couple of plugs and the spark great. I’ve got a mechanic coming tomorrow to re-run everything I’ve done. I’m absolutely at a total loss. Thanks
