Gear ratio

I have a 1990 B2 and have rebuilt the motor bored 30 over added a mild cam, ported heads and intake, added headers my compression ratio is 10.5 to 1 so now my question is should I go with 3.45 ratio gears or 3.27 gears for I am going to use the truck to cruise and for road trips. The truck has cruise control and I am thinking it would be better to go with the 3.45 so I don't have to down shift for long hills. Any thoughts on this. Thanks.

What tire are you running? Probably stick with 3.45s.

I have 235/70r/15 but I am going to change to 265/75r/15. My size, Dia. is to go to a 29 diameter.

Thanks for the advice, I was leaning towards the 3.27 ratio at first but then thought the rpm would be to low in the torque range and the 3.45 would be a better choice for what I'm going to use the truck for.
