Bronco II warning light
I have put a 1988 bronco II V6 in my MGA 30 years ago and am currently rewiring car and engine I could not find an aftermarket engine harness so am currently rebuilding the old one. When i hoked up the engine warning light someone told me to put a resister across the wires of the bulb. Like a idiot I cut the wires and do not know where they connect in the ignition circuit Does someone know where to tie this light in with the resistor The resistor is a 5110 ohm and i solder a between the two leads going to the check engine light any help on why i did this would help a lot

If you don't get an answer soon here on this forum....consider joining FaceBook and joining the Bronco II groups there. I have seen many answers to deeper questions such as this one. I think because there are enthusiast that own more than 1 B2 and some of members have striped down more than 1. I have seen several ignition and wiring related questions. Good Luck!
