clock spring?
clock spring?
Well I'm back.....Had a few family issues and had a heart attack but everything is good. One day the horn just went on by itself and I disco'd the batteries to stop the noise. and after that everything was good for a week or so. This morning it started going off again and I pounded on it and it stopped(get a bigger hammer ,right?) driving I noticed it would go off a few times. Also, the radio volume controls stopped working. I just got into the shop so I have had a chance to check it out. Maybe Ill just order it and have it on hand so I can be ready. Ill keep y'all informed on the outcome
Glad you’re ok after the heart attack!
On mine the pad under the steering wheel cover went bad and kept making the horn go off randomly. A couple times I woke up in the middle of the night to the horn going off in the garage 😂
Replaced the pad (super easy fix) and all has been good since.

Well, I had to go back in the hospital because one of the stints had collapsed. Got them all fixed so the fluids flow better and a change of meds and I seem ok. Also have a built in now. Maybe my body is taking after my Power stroke lol. Anyway I never got to to tell the issue and it wasn't the clock spring it was the pad. With the temp changes here I guess it was just like my paint that is falling off but that's for another thread down the road
