I have been trying to figure this out for quite a while, and I don't know where else to look. I keep getting an intermittent P0500 code for the VSS sensor. My speedometer stays stable the whole time so that leads me to believe the problem is the PSOM based on wire diagrams. I removed the PSOM and PCM and did not see any corrosion or swelling of capacitors. I have checked the ground behind the passenger side kick panel and it looks good. I have also checked the wiring to the PCM while moving it around. Is this definitely a PSOM problem? Do all of them have a "variation" at speed like mine does? What company is able to repair them?
BTW, I'm using a OBDLink dongle and their app to get data.
