Anyone got a write up for how to get at and r&r the ABS module which is located on the front side of the ABS pump?
I need to pull it for inspection. Likely needs to have some contacts resoldered due to an intermittent ABS light problem.
I've been wondering the same thing for the same reason and the same suspicion lol. I took one look at it and realized I didn't have time to eff with it recently.

When I'm done resurrecting my wifes 2007 Daytona, its next on my list. There has to be a way to get it out without breaching those abs lines to remove the pump.
I have had intermittent abs light issues on several occasions. Turned out to be the wiring harness connector from the speed sensor at the hub that connects to the module wiring harness. In front it's just behind the plastic wheel well cover. Going off road along with tire rub chaffed the wires.
I'm not saying this is your issue. But it was mine and I just had to replace the wheel sensor and connector and not the entire module.
So if the abs module is replaced, does it have to be "programmed" in order to function in my truck? If so, does anyone know a company that repairs these modules instead so it doesnt have to be programmed? How is the module removed from the abs pump assembly? I had a similar problem in my Porsche, and eventually found a specialty shop that repaired it, but Ford is a much different part.
