Hi,
So, it's getting tp that point where I guess I will have to upgrade my PC to W11.
I did some checking and backups are definitely recommended. IT appears that I could use Backup and Restore(Windows 7) and create a system image . Other methods seem to require a bunch of fiddling around - much of which I don't really understand. I used a system image in the dark ages, but never in a deal like this.
I understand that if the W11 won't boot or some such garbage I could use one of several methods to get it to use the whole system image. Not quite as sure about what to do iff it's just missing something like Word or some data that I really want.
i had to upgrade to 11 after the old laptop died. it is not that bad, but i have all upgrades and updates turned off. also have all reporting systems and anything else that will allow windows to talk to anyone turned off. plus i turn off wifi connection as soon as i an done and leave it off until i go to use the computer again. 3 years now with no issues at all.
stop worrying just do it, takes a little adjustment to get used to it, task bar can be moved to the left from the center , items you don't like turned off, ms bloat deleted
