System image for W10
Progress ever more progress.
I wanted to make a system image for my W10 laptop and couldn't find it. I checked the interwebs and it's apparently there. However, there are lots of reports that it frequently fails and may be eliminated. I guess there is an option for a 'full backup' -- but that also has issues
Looking for advice.
Thanks,
hj
There are a bunch of options out there.. I have used Acronis true Image software that comes free with a western Digital drive for cloning
https://www.acronis.com/en-us/lp/per...hoCfCAQAvD_BwE
It is only $35 for a year
Years ago there was Norton Ghost that we used
Norton Antivirus has a backup component aned I believe McCafee does also
Here is a free one that I have never used that you might want to try..

Strangely enough I finally found the W10 system image function. (Not sure that I could find it again
)It's listed as System Image W7. Tried it out and it worked from what I could tell. Nade the same files as my W7 machines do.
Maybe they threw the older version in there with the last update. The artucke I read said that they were having a lot of trouble with the one designed specifically for W10
