Controlled release from engine block coolant drains?

Anyone have a good method for a semi controlled release of coolant into a receptacle from the block drains?

I need to reuse the coolant and prefer not to have it drizzling down the side of the motor.

Pick up 1 or 2 barbed fittings with 1/4" NPT male threads. Put a snug fitting cap over the barbed end (or use your finger) and switch it out quick for the plug then get some plastic tubing ready, pop the cap or your finger off and slip your tubing onto the barb.

I wouldn't worry about reusing the coolant in block. Just drain all you can in radiator and reuse it. Then just toss what comes out of the block and top off with fresh.

It's not really a lot. 1 or 2 gallons. I'd just spend the $20 and buy a gallon of antifreeze. But that's just me.
