what about the rear crossmember? Does the angle part of yours bolt to the member or rivet? If it's a bolt on is it upside down? I know these seem like redundant questions but I am trying to help.

Can we get some better pictures of your overall project? I can't help feeling like we're not getting a full view of what's going on. In this pic there's a little glimpse of some custom work going on, and perhaps something you did changed the shape or location of some of the mounting points. Or perhaps there is some reason why your frame rails aren't in their correct shape. Or maybe you have something going together incorrectly that you're unaware of.
