C75FUE92282

C75 = C750

F = 391 4V FT gas V8

U = Louisville Assembly Plant

E92282 = 1969 numerical series, March 1969 production

153 = 153 inch wheelbase

No color code. Truck is a special order so paint was probably part of that.

C752 = C750, 25,500 lbs GVWR

A291
A2 = Grey Twill Stripe Vinyl and Woven Plastic
91 = Tilt cab, Standard Custom Cab, Cab and Chassis vehicle (EDIT: Correction)

M = Clark model 285V five speed direct transmission

HOD
HO = Not listed. Could it be "HQ"? Is it a single speed axle?
HQ = Eaton model 17121 single speed rear axle, 18,500 lbs capacity, 7.17 ratio
D = Ford-Rockwell (Timken) 7,000 lb capacity front axle

25500 = 25,500 lbs GVWR

194 3800 = 194 Certified Net HP @ 3800 RPM

B18474
B1 = Ford of Canada, Central (Lincoln-Mercury) District Sales Office
8474 = Special Order Number

Yes it is a single speed rear axle, at first glance it looks like an O but there is a vauge indentation making it actually a HQ.

I would say ragoon red or something close to it, possibly a custom color. 🤔

The only deviation is that it is a custom cab, I would have thought that would show up in the decode but non the less, thank you for breaking it down for me.

Custom Cab should have showed under the "A291" part of the decode. A quick look and a little slower reading reveals it is a Custom Cab. With the alpha first, the "A2" indicates Custom Cab. Numeric first, "2A", would be Standard Cab. Sorry, should have read that more carefully.

No worries at all, it's the little things that can't be seen or known that I was interested.

It did, but the previous owner removed it and most of the apparatus.

Long shot sources for king pin kits. You have a 7,000 lb axle and that's how the kit is determined:

My eyes have glazed over looking at the MPC. I'll try again tomorrow.
