200,000 miles

I hit 200,000 miles this week on my 2018 F-350 with 6.7 Power Stroke. For the most part it has been a pretty reliable truck. Below is what it took to get it to this milestone.

-28 oil changes with Shell T6 5w40. This turned out to be about every 7,000 miles when the Oil minder told me to change it.
-10 fuel filters, changed every 20,000 miles.
-10 air filters changed every 20,000 miles.
-10 cabin filters, changed every 20,0000 miles
-1 set of front brake pads due to caliper slide sticking at 167,000 miles
-1 drivers side brake caliper mount
-1 driver's side front wheel bearing
-Upper oil pan leak at 65,000 miles and again at 80,000 miles. Ford gave me a 200,000 mile warranty for this.
-4 transmission drain and fill, with filter, every 50,000 miles
-4 front diff, rear diff, and transfer case fluid changes, every 50,000 miles
-1 sunroof track
-3 sets of Toyo Open country AT II tires
-1 set of replacement cameras due to them being foggy
-New track bar, tie rods, and steering damper at 175,000
-1 new rear taillight
-1 new heated seat module at 175,000
-1 new set of batteries at 150,000
-Radiator fluid at 150,000 and 200,000 plus the changes when they did the upper oil pan
-14 pairs of wiper blades
-3 windshields

Today the truck is running like new. The only issues it has is the front bumper is chipped from rocks, the headlights are starting to yellow a little, and the driver's seat could use a new bottom cushion and cover.

Looks like a lot of what you had to replace (not everything, obviously) was either general maintenance or things just wearing out - which is great to hear.

I am a big proponent of regular, proper maintenance on vehicles - if you treat them right they'll treat you right. Learned it from my old man, who is STILL daily driving his '08 6.4 PSD. Rusting out but still runs like a top.

Exactly, mostly just maintenance. Unfortunately it is due for some maintenance items now. Fluids in front diff, rear diff, transfer case, and transmission. I do all these myself which saves a lot.

No. Probably should but rarely do.

But I do avoid Biodiesel where possible and only fill at high turnover fuel stations. Also, I religiously change fuel filters every 20,000 miles.

On my 17 King Ranch I repainted the bumper and prepped and clear coated the headlights. Had both wrapped in Xpel. I also repainted the hood and Xpel’d it but i am OCD.

Looks brand new.

Good ideas. I will need to do bumper before long. Never thought about clear coating headlights.

Yeah and the xpel keeps them from getting blasted with road debris and staying smooth.. do the bumper too.

Check into richmond auto upholstery for the seat bottom. Might as well also do the plastic sill plate new too if its scratched up.

All cheap easy stuff
