On my E99 , I went Metal on metal on the passengers side rear rotor and also blew up the drivers side ... Was able to save that rear rotor and the other front caliper , but I had to get both Rear calipers and the Drivers side Front Caliper as well since the bleeder was bucked .... I have been bleeding and bleeding for a too long , and the system works ..... NO noticeable leaks anywhere ... but Not great on Emergency stops at speed . It has Hydroboost so I hope when the New Master cylinder arrives next week it will be an easy install ...I should have bought a Gallon of brake fluid instead of the quarts like I did would have saved over $ 20 ... anyway Does anyone have any insight on this ? Am I missing something ? the Brakes were New 25 K ago ( everything ) and Yes I use the Truck hard and carry Heavy loads , but That does seem like not much Time ... anyway and Help / Suggestions / Ideas or Tricks will be appreciated
thanks
You didn't happen to get a left and right for a mid-2000 up did you? This will put the bleed screw on the bottom of the left caliper meaning you'll never get all of the air out.
One faces Front which is the Left , and the Right or passengers side faces the rear and both bleeder screws seem to be in the middle of the caliper ...I Installed it the way it was .... Never had a problem before ....
Is the hydroboost system working correctly? Truck off pump the pedal multiple times. Then with your foot on the pedal start the truck, you should feel the pedal rise. It's a hydraulic system, isolate into sections. The first place to start is put 2 plugs in the MC and see how the pedal is, should be rock hard. If it's not the problem is in the MC. If it's rock hard connect 1 section and see what you get there and repeat until you find where your problem is.

Update ; thanks for all the replys , It seems to have improved by driving it ..I still bought the new Master Cylinder just in case but I have not installed it yet ...I will be replacing the Power Steering fluid next and then I will bleed it once more to se if anything changes...But so far so good ...I think it was a combination of old brake fluid and the new Pads seating themselves and the Hydroboost bleeding itself as well ...regardless I will keep you posted on any new developments ... Thanks again
