They shouldn’t be necessarily nose high unloaded. The truck and trailer suspension should drop when loaded.
OP can hopefully do an axle flip kit and some slightly larger tires. Then adjust the coupler if needed. But lifting the rear will add a good bit of clearance.
Its a really nice trailer too. I would buff that thing to new and also throw some polished wheels on it. Easy project.
