I have to say that I absolutely LOVE the Argon Blue on the new trucks. I really wish Ford would have had it, or at least a similar blue, when I ordered my 24. I do love my Rapid Red, but man I kinda wish it was Argon Blue. My last truck was an 03 F250 that I ordered in Sonic Blue and my 13 Shelby is Deep Impact Blue so I am pretty partial to blue. I've not seen an Argon Blue in person, but from the pics I've seen it does look fairly close to my Deep Impact Blue.
have looked over number of argon in person and it’s only blue from a 90 degree angle otherwise it’s purple, if you’re like me and detest purple then you’ll be glad with your choice, because about 95%+ of the time you look at it all you’ll see is purple
Bubba which cell phone mount did you go with? Happy with it, and did it require drilling? Thanks
The dash mount mollie is from BuiltRight, this requires you to take off the plastic trim in the little dash tray (I'm sure Ford has a better name for this area) on the center of the dash and drill four holes. Easy installation once you get past the feeling that you are destroying your dashboard as you get the clips to release. They even give you a few new clips because they tend to break. The ball mount and arm are from 67 Designs; Pro Series Arms The device for holding the phone is a Mous IntraLock mount. Yes, I am very happy with the set up. BTW, I had exactly the same set setup on my previous truck, F150.

Well that sucks. I like blue. I ordered my 2018 in the Blue Jeans color, and in direct sunlight at quite a few angles, it had a purple hue to it. I ordered it blind without seeing one in person.
Antimatter Blue in 2024 was basically a gallon of black paint with 3 drops of blue in it. I made sure to check out the '23/'24 colors in person on the dealer lot before I ordered. I went with Carbonized gray.
From pictures, Argon blue finally looked like Ford got a blue color right, but if it's as you say, they may have struck out again. I love it in pictures, but I need to go find one in person.

Agree, I wanted a good medium metallic blue but glad I looked them over in person. It's a lot of sheet metal to be purple, they do stand out, you'll pick one up from a long ways away and know exactly what it is because nothing that big runs around in a color like that lol, but you must see the color in person first imo. Marsh grey also should be seen in person, guys who like brown trucks will like it.

I agree that it sucks if there is that much of a purple tinge to it. When I ordered my 2003 F250 I went with the Sonic Blue because I had seen a 2003 Mustang in that color. It was a very bright sunny day when I saw the Mustang on the lot. Later, I saw one at night and was shocked at how purple it looked. Ford colors are definitely affected by the ambient lighting. The Sonic Blue did grow on me and I kept it until last year when I ordered my 2024. My Deep Impact Blue GT500 also can have a slight purple hue in the right lighting, but not near as much as the Sonic Blue. I don't plan on buying another new truck after only a year. I tend to keep mine for years before parting with them. I would still like to see the new Argon Blue in person though.
i haven't studied fords or paint really of any of them before like i have this year, i'm a fan of metallics and maybe they're all like this but fords 2026 metallics definitely are two faced in that with good light behind you and looking perpendicular to the surface the carbon grey is almost silver but majority of angles it's a darker grey, so light/dark, like i said 95%+ of the time you look at it it's going to ring carbonized grey or grey to darker grey, they all seem to have the same effect, the red really likes light and its nice to me, like black, when clean it's tough to beat, i don't like the red dirty as it's also darker most angles and darker reds dirty would be what i see most as i don't live where clean trucks are the norm, the argon blue is different in this light/dark it seems more like two colors, purple/blue, most of time and angles it's the darker purple, except like i said with sun behind you and perpendicular to the side of the truck you will see a really nice blue and not pick up on the purple but as soon as you start walking away from perpendicular it switches over to purple, i dunno, just something i noticed on all 3 of these 2026 metallics, there's a primary color you see on the angles etc. which is most of the time and it's darker, but then there's the secondary color that at that perfect perpendic with light coming in behind you is much lighter and argon it goes purple to blue instead of dark to light...

Finished installing the hook & loop fasteners for the Bedrug XLT (tailgate cover)
Swapped out the cargo plates on the bed sides so I could use my Boxlink and eTrack accessories.
Got all my "winter gear" in the bed. Duluth Trading jacket & pants, gloves, hats, etc, my recovery kit to help others (recovery strap, tow strap, D-rings, jumper cables, etc), Weigh-Safe hitch kit, and my box that houses diesel additive, tools, impact gun, impact sockets for all sizes of lug nuts, etc.). Under the back seat is a 12V air compressor, tire repair kit, battery for impact gun, and a few other winter needs.
I've had the truck for a month now, so did the first of many monthly water/fuel separator drains. Fuel looks great.
So you can run low pressures when not towing or hauling for a better ride (and better tire wear). Plus, with new wheels, you don’t have to buy or swap sensors.

Disabling TPMS is one of the first things I do.
He’s already using FORScan and the tpms psi settings can be easily adjusted. I adjusted mine down when I activated (via FORScan) TPMS to my 21 450 as it well above my operating range.
My aftermarket wheels and tires came with Tpms sensors.
It takes just a few seconds and I don’t know why anyone would want to operate a vehicle without tpms.

cause them’s used to drive their trucks for years without em’s so why would they wannum on their trucks now?
the olden days was so much better if we could just go back I tell ya’s.
Nope. Amazon. Excellent quality for $24. I did reuse the factory screws, but it came with its own. I loosened the factory screws by hand, removed and mostly reinstalled with Dewalt cordless ratchet, but did final tightening by hand. Didn't want to strip anything out.
