Yesterday I installed Timbrin springs. I dint know about those After i get some towing time I may consider airbags again.
And today i had front windows and eyebrow tinted.
Finished installing the hook & loop fasteners for the Bedrug XLT (tailgate cover)
Swapped out the cargo plates on the bed sides so I could use my Boxlink and eTrack accessories.
Got all my "winter gear" in the bed. Duluth Trading jacket & pants, gloves, hats, etc, my recovery kit to help others (recovery strap, tow strap, D-rings, jumper cables, etc), Weigh-Safe hitch kit, and my box that houses diesel additive, tools, impact gun, impact sockets for all sizes of lug nuts, etc.). Under the back seat is a 12V air compressor, tire repair kit, battery for impact gun, and a few other winter needs.
I've had the truck for a month now, so did the first of many monthly water/fuel separator drains. Fuel looks great.

Just added a SnugTop Rebel camper shell. It is my 4th SnugTop camper shell; I have had one on each of my previous trucks, and it is great. This one has the added bonus of smoothing out the ride. I noticed the difference as soon as I started moving. Took out a lot of the bounce you get in a Super Duty when you do not have a load. I have also added a BuiltRight mollie in the bed of the truck (secures my gas can when traveling) and a cell phone dash mount. Both are well built and do a great job. I also had these in my past vehicles.

I pressure washed it after the last hunting trip. I have 2531 miles on the F-350 now. Towed the old camper 610 miles over two trips. One very nice thing is that the fuel mileage is 50% better than the suburban towing this camper so we can go about our business rather than planning fuel stops. Forgot to take a POST pressure wash pic so these will have to do. @Reaper6 I will have to look into that valance. I scraped a couple times on this last trip.
Just finished our first big trip with the new truck. 3300 miles, CO - UT - ID - OR - WA - OR - ID - WY - CO. Brutal cross winds across WY on I-80, and the truck handled it perfectly.

Good to hear you had no problems towing across all those states, exactly where I normally tow also. Looks like you have pretty much the same truck. What is the weight and length of your trailer and did you use a WDH?

29’ travel trailer, approx 8’ wide, and yes, Equalizer hitch. Loaded the trailer is probably just under 7000 lbs.

Well that validates my choice of trucks. My trailer is just over 27 ft and has a max weight of 7000 lbs. I have used an equalizer hitch for about 20 years, nice WDH. I did get a Weight Safe WDH to go with my new truck. I like the more modern adjustment system. Looks like you made it back before winter fully sets in. Thanks for the reply.
