Has anyone purchased a reproduction steering will that is supposed to be a new OEM one?
If so from where and if so, how is it and how
do you like the quality ?
I 'think' I got my re-pop from Dennis Carpenter. It didn't last very long before it cracked. '70 F-250 Ranger XLT CS. I gave up hoping for something better.

The queens 69 f-100 came with one, its nice and all but it doesn't go far enough down on the splines so there is to much of a gap at the column. Before all the replies come in.... the truck has new cab corners and a brand new nos ford rag joint and the tube is adjusted all the way up, i get maybe 4.5 solid turns before its tight.
And there is no horn contact in it the guy that installed it forgot/lost it, spring is there just no contact so no horn.

I bought a reproduction steering wheel from LMC truck that looked like the original on my 72 F250. It looked great when I first bought it, then less than a year it was cracked worse than the one I replaced. Hard to find quality goods, even from LMC. Kind of upset with the quality as it wasn't cheap. I ended up buying another aftermarket steering wheel whcih works and looks ok, but not the original style.
I had mine leather wrapped to cover the outer perimeter cracks by a guy who did motorcycle custom work.
that would look good.
I ended up finding a vintage black steering wheel wrap that was what my grandfather had on his 71 so out of nostalgia I got it and put it on the one I repaired.
I fixed the horn issue on ours, i don't know where the wheel is from but it seems like a quality piece...so far.
You can see how i fixed the horn in my thread 17 inch steering wheel
