C = 330 2V MD FT gas V8. (Medium Duty = 360 cast crank, FE distributor and oil pump drive)
C = Ontario Truck Plant, Ontario Canada.
F90452 = 1969 numerical series. The MPC shows the numbers going through G30,000. But the shop manual stops at F63,999. Mid to late 1969 production.
194 = 194 inch wheelbase
No color code. This is a U-Haul special order so it was painted a non-standard color.
F603 = F600 gas, 4x2, 17,000 lbs GVWR
4381
43 = Black Woven Plastic/Corinthian Rib/Corinthian Vinyl
81 = Standard cab, cab and chassis vehicle
A = New Process model 435 four speed transmission
64 = Rockwell model F-106 single speed rear axle, 15,000 lbs capacity, 6.80 ratio
No front axle code. For MY '64 to '69 only optional axles were listed. Thus the standard Ford axle, probably 4,500 lbs capacity without power steering. There will be markings on the axle to identify it.
17000 = 17,000 lbs GVWR
164 3800 = 164 Certified Net HP @ 3800 RPM
870437
87 = Body Company. All U-hauls show this as they went off to get their paint and box etc for rental duty.
0437 = Special order number
If the rest of it is in as good condition as the paint and warranty tag, that would be nice--other than the 4 speed and single speed axle which will be ok in town but not so much on a hill with a load....
