I use a scangauge 2. It gives 4 PIDs and is small

I monitor soot load, regen status, engine oil temp, and EGT4, so I know if it’s going to passive regen. It sits on the column with a strip of Velcro.

I also use the iDash. I have 5 different screens set up. Here is my regen screen:

Note the temps are all low because I just keyed the truck on to take the photos.

They have the new iDash Pro which is a no go for us older 6.7 owners as it's for the 20 plus trucks I believe that have the encrypted ECMs. They won't support the older Pedal Monsters or the Derringer, I have both, so I am good with my two "classics."


I have a second page saved just for regens as it has the EGR 1 and 2 temps as well as all four EGT PIDs. Let's me know when it goes "hot" and when it shuts off...

I also have the 3rd ghost screen activated for DPF SL% on the dash.
