Would like to consider replacing my 2005 E-350 w/5.4 gasoline engine instrument cluster lamps with some form of LED's---need/want something a bit brighter than standard 194 incandescent stock factory bulbs,.
Anyone have any real life experience with this in that vehicle or a similar year F-Series. I don't want something too bright or that gets too hot and causes issues inside the cluster housing. I've already looked through SuperBrightLED's but there's so much there to choose from If you've used something specific please share a link or part number.

Iirc that year model already has leds in the cluster. If no one else chimes in before I get home and look in the shop manual to be certain. I'll let you know.
I replaced 2-3 bulbs in the heater/AC :dash "pod" and they were incandescenta but might have been changed by the previous owner.
Thanks for checking on this for me!
Well, I guess I was wrong about that, according to my book, it indeed uses regular bulbs in the back. Can't offer any advice on an led replacement as I've no experience personally or professionally for interior or cluster lighting.
I've used superbright for the times I have converted exterior lamps, always fast shipping, decent prices. Compare lumen numbers not kelvin, lumen is the brightness, kelvin is the temperature, higher temp bluer color. You can get leds that look exactly like incandescent bulbs in color.
