I was going to put some adhesive sheet sound deadening on the floor of the cab of my F250. However the previous owner has covered the entire floor, including under the seat with something that looks like bed liner. My question is, do you think this bed liner stuff will prohibit the use of the adhesive sheets I plan on using? It makes the floor quite uneven. Here's a pic of what's on my floor.
Do you know how thick the bed liner is? That looks to be pretty rough and thicker than most. Test to see if it will peal up alone a edge. Because it it was not prepped right it will peal off. As far as noise control is, the more you add the quieter it will get.
What do you plan to put over the matt?
If carpet with a backing I would save your money on the matt and just do carpet as that will cut the noise down a LOT!
Between the liner and the matt and then maybe carpet you are adding maybe a inch or more what head room to roof and legs to steering wheel do you have?
I would add a sheet of matt to each door to cut the noise and the "drum" from them.
It will also make the door speakers sound better.
I did 2 roll on bed liner top & bottom of my floor, no matt, and carpet with liner and it is pretty quite inside for a truck as it only has wind noise.
Yes I did add "peel & stick" to the 2 doors. Besides helping the door speakers it makes them sound more solid when closing.

I used Noico in our 69, it had under coating sprayed on it, i used armor all glass cleaner first then left it for a couple days because of other things to do, then laid down the Noico and rolled it out with the metal rollers.
