Can someone identify this axle?
Hey all, I bought a home made trailer and it has a solid front truck axle (I assume). Can someone identify it or can someone guide me in the right direction to find any markings on it? I need to identify it so I can get bearings, seals and dust caps (1 cap missing). Thanks for your time.

Well, you did a really damn good job at taking a picture of just about the least unique part of a typical old school beam axle.
You need to take a pic of the wheel end, ideally from both sides so we can get a look at the brakes.

You will need to take apart, then proceed. Not worth guessing imo. Most autostores carry bearings and seals. I'd check date codes on tires as well, older than 10 years, I'd replace for sure.

Looking at that brake flange I'd be real surprised if they're not old school ball bearings.

Looks like a "barn find" axle!
Best to remove the bearings and seal and match at a good auto store like NAPA.

To be perfectly honest, I can’t imagine doing this project any other way

They have this newfangled thing called the internet and you can use it to search bearing and seal parts by size, part number and application.

Looks like a front axle off of something old.
Does it have steering knuckles?
