Engine Removal Question...

Engine died and I will be replacing. Can I remove it with The exhaust manifolds still attached? It will be easier to remove them outside of the engine bay.😁

The manifolds are notorious for having broken studs & being a total pain to get them out.
You should be able to pull with them on where you have 2 choices, pull the cab, or remove everything up front & make sure your hoist will lift that high.

I saw a thing on FB from FordTechMaculoco, no failures after just touching welder to manifold bolts to get them red, but not screwing the hex head. The quick super heat and then cooling seamed to break the bond. Might be a video on it?
